On June 6, Asclepius Meditec convened the 2024 Hydrogen-Oxygen Medicine Academic Exchange Conference in Beijing. More than 500 participants—including medical experts from various fields, Asclepius Meditec city partners and regional distributors, beneficiaries, and potential users interested in hydrogen-oxygen medicine—gathered to jointly advance the development of the hydrogen-oxygen health initiative.

As is widely known, as the only legally approved hydrogen–oxygen generator authorized for market launch under the national “Innovative Medical Device” designation, Asclepius Meditec is currently facing a flood of imitation products derived from industrial hydrogen-production technologies. These products are indiscriminately sold on major e-commerce platforms such as JD.com and Tmall, blurring distinctions between compliant medical devices and non-medical equipment. This has driven the market into a vicious cycle in which inferior products crowd out legitimate ones, creating significant challenges for compliant and authorized Asclepius Meditec distributors in promoting regulated, standard-compliant products. To better serve its distributors, Asclepius Meditec headquarters, together with city partners across various districts of Beijing, jointly organized this academic exchange conference to provide strong academic support for offline distributors.

The conference specially invited academic leaders including Sun Tao, former Director of the Office Services Bureau of the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine; Zhu Yilin, Executive Vice President of the China Anti-Aging Promotion Association; Lv Youyong, Second-Level Professor at Peking University Cancer Hospital; and Cheng Youqin, Clinical Medicine Professor at the Chinese PLA General Hospital to deliver keynote presentations. From different perspectives, they conducted in-depth discussions on the application of hydrogen in sub-health management, its value in prevention, control, and rehabilitation, as well as its effects in chronic diseases among middle-aged and elderly populations and cancer prevention, presenting participants with an academically rigorous and insightful knowledge exchange.
Looking ahead, Asclepius Meditec headquarters will continue to uphold a service-oriented approach to “serve” partners with dedication and “support” partners through concrete action, working closely with city partners nationwide to ensure accurate information is continuously disseminated to government authorities, channel partners, and end users alike, enabling the public to truly benefit from hydrogen-oxygen medicine.
